I should have probably been a history professor at some point.
But when you go back to ancient Greece, this is how they lost their democracy.
When you go back to the fall of the Roman Republic, it was a similar thing that started to happen: the bread and circuses and the power moving from the legislature up to the executive.
You go to medieval medieval Europe, you go to medieval Florence, medieval Venice, you then get back to the mayor.
America's, you look at what happened to all the republics in South America, it's generally the same things.
You see this power moving from the legislator to the executive.
And then what do they do?
They start stripping the state to reward theirs and punish.
