It's a pretty aggressive form of bringing in people to the country.
And then the other thing that people want is they want a robust guest worker program.
So people who are showing
Showing up to do construction work or to pick grapes or you know, any of those work in hotels, there's a dignified legal way for there to come in and to leave, and we can start bringing these things above board.
And it's not that controversial, right?
It's like this is what the majority of Americans want.
They want to know who's coming in.
They want a secure border, but they also want to have robust levels of immigration that actually help prop up the country and the economy.

I mean, this is an area where independence could absolutely lead on.
And because it's like once they kind of plant the feet the flag, like, look, this is where the majority of Americans are, then that could create the opportunity for jailbreaks from Republicans and Democrats who also want to support common sense legislation.
To me, immigration is probably the easiest thing for us to solve.

And one thing that I constantly did throughout my career is you'd you'd you'd get these great young candidates.
They would come to Washington, they'd be so excited to get to Washington.
And then when it's in a few years, you're like, what the heck happened to this person?
