We have to be more disciplined to make better choices.

Yeah, look, I think I'm going to sound totally biased saying this, but the best thing you can do is go and get some independent advice.
I can't, you know, I can't emphasize that enough because I think the problem that we all face is that we become so entrenched in our own mindset and our own beliefs and, you know, and it's so important to pause and take a minute and actually help someone give you some clarity over what's going on.
You know, we're all going to make better decisions when we're educated, when we're informed, when you actually have some clarity around what's going on.
I think, you know, when we're talking, you know, outside the importance of advice, you know, if you're going to go about this on your own.
it's really important to focus on yourself and what you need.
You know, how is your cash flow?
How is your job security?
Dare I say it?
You know, what is your strategy and how you're repaying your loan?
Because that will heavily influence the interest rates that you then, you know, that are going to be most appropriate for you.
is what's happening yeah and that is just not good enough we need to be better than that taking 30 years to pay off a 30-year loan that you've failed you know like we have to call it out it's just not good enough you can do so much better and we need to really encourage that

And it's really interesting actually to do as an exercise, find a mortgage repayment calculator and throw a provisional sum in as an extra repayment.
