And two, continue down the slide until one, you arrive there at the bottom of the slide and into a room of preparation.
And let's consider this room
a room entirely for you it's of your creation because it's your imagination but imagine even though it's imagination it can seem tangible it has dimensions color it feels solid
and notice the walls of this room they're covered not in notes and not in anxiety and not in the pressure of all there is to know but in maps mind maps a visual architecture of everything
You've studied or want to study.
You've synthesized or will synthesize everything you've come to understand.
Each map, a different theme, a different topic, vivid branches of color radiating from clear central images.
relationships between ideas that you can see at a glance and perhaps even though each mind map is a different theme they're clustered in proximity to related themes i want you to get a sense that it feels like these mind maps
are a reflection of neural pathways thoughts connected to ideas connected to people or dates perhaps even laws and walk slowly around the room and notice that your eye is drawn to different sections
cluster of color in one corner a clear image right in the center of something significant a branching structure and this room this room of preparation could be given context give it a door
perhaps make it a room that you know very well a room from childhood some people believe in creating a memory palace but a memory palace is just a metaphor for a three-dimensional world within your imagination
maybe you can visually remember a childhood home, and what if each room represented a different theme, and each room was filled with mind maps connected to different topics within topics related to that theme, you could navigate that memory,
and you wouldn't need to have anything tangible in order to do it, and as you look at this room, or connected rooms, notice that the knowledge isn't just sitting on the walls, it's already inside you,
Because the very process of building these mind maps, of choosing the images, the colors, the branches, all of that is encoding.
Understanding of these concepts becoming not just knowledgeable, but attaining mastery of all of these connected ideas is a byproduct of creating these mind maps.
Your brain has been doing the real work as a side effect while your conscious mind was busy researching, analyzing, capturing everything that you wanted to recall.
The knowledge is already yours.
The preparation you have done and are doing is already working at every level of your mind.
And don't be surprised if you can recall so much of this years from now.
And if that's true, it will be easy to recall when you need it.
