You know, you even had FIFA's own COO, Kevin Lamour, and his own advisor, Infantino's own advisor, Carlos Cordero, coming out and saying they were blindsided by this, that they didn't support it, that they were opposed to it.

And then when you put on top of that, that it was going to somebody with the surname Kushner and those obvious connections through family with Donald Trump, that was always going to be a tinderbox that could explode.

And I think that's what you've seen here.

It's kind of the straw that's broken the camel's back.

It was just about the football and the spectacle.

I think on the ground, obviously, I'm in a fortunate position.

I never had any of those issues.

But even on the ground and experiencing the fan festivals with the Colombians, the Argentinians, Germans, Curacao, like I mentioned, I didn't really feel any of that uncertainty and disapproval and anger.

There was no real protests outside the stadiums, no protests inside the stadiums.

So I think everyone just sort of, once the game started, everyone just got on with it and just took it for what it was, which was a World Cup, which was an amazing World Cup on the pitch.

Like that's something we've kind of seen in lots of different countries.
