I think it's definitely having an impact.

You have to remember last summer, they didn't have an executive structure in place.

So Eddie Howe was effectively, you know, almost doing the deals as well.

He was picking up his phone as well as working on the training pitches.

They've since appointed a sporting director in Ross Wilson and chief executive in David Hopkinson.

And

I think the way the financial rules are, if you miss out on Champions League football like Newcastle did, they finished 12th last season.

Trading's become so important and coupled with trading, they have to look at those players, as you say, who are maybe a little bit cheaper than the players they were looking at last summer.

You know, I don't think you're going to see a situation where Newcastle spend 69 million pounds on a player like they did in Nick Voltamata last summer.
