Kitt's line, literally, you could say, well, it's about spying Hitler, which is not necessarily... You know, spite's not generally a great reason to do things, but if it's Hitler, I think that tends to be different.

But this isn't even so much about spite.

I think if you look at it in context, it's really about honoring the memory of those who passed and what they were fighting for.

Some of the motivations in the Spanish Civil War were complex.

During World War II, there was a focus that everyone on the loyalist side was fighting for democracy and out of love for it.

But regardless, it couldn't let the Nazis have the flag.

And I think you saw that theme of honoring the past with him saying he was going to Lisbon to retrieve it and give it to another bloc.

I also have to say that I enjoyed Robert Young in this, and it's always interesting to listen to Young's pre-father knows best work.

Because I think that there are a lot of people that the degree to which they remember Young, it's because of Father Knows Best.

Or another very successful TV series he had the title role in, Marcus Welby.

And both of these were great.

very warm and likable characters.

But Young, during the golden age of radio, really did a lot of work at so many different films, so many different roles, and had real range.
