And I want to know how we can build a world where it's easier for people to say, you know what?
I preached this idea last year.
You know what?
I've realized I was missing something important.
I prosecuted you, and I have actually become aware that I might not have been correct there.
And for people to say,
wow, you've evolved, thank you.
As opposed to, you are inconsistent, you're a hypocrite, I no longer respect you.
Did not expect you to go there.
Yeah.
I mean, some people call it changing your mind.
I think of it as growing.
I also think just because I am willing and able to think again doesn't mean I always do it at the right time or in the right direction.
And one of the things I've noticed over the last few years, and I've gotten some really good feedback about this, is sometimes my standard of proof is too high.
So somebody brings me a suggestion or an idea or a concern,
show me the airtight evidence or the bulletproof logic.
And if not, I'm good where I am.
You've not met my level of- Your threshold.
Yeah, exactly.
And what that means is sometimes I'm too reluctant to try something unproven.
