Um, but it's uh something that's pretty special.

This organization's been

Amazing to to me and my family since I've been here and and it's certainly um something I'm very proud of.

I mean, I mean I think it's always there.

You know, there's always guys that that have maybe less experience but um I mean you just you just try to help lead.

Um, you know, don't overwhelm, just try to get to talk to the guys you're playing on the line, if you're even if you're not, you know, what uh

Maybe what you see in in and how you can can teach and and bring those guys along um as quick as possible.

So I I think they've all done a great job, um, learning pretty quickly uh through training camp through early parts of the season.

And then it it you know, there are s certain things that that you just can't teach, you kinda have to go through I think as a as a young player the

You know, the the schedule is grueling and it's tough and I think that's uh something you just have to kinda learn to

um deal with and and best deal with a as an individual.

Um, you know, you s I think we got a lot of great leaders in that that locker room, played a lot of hockey games and and there's a lot of knowledge to pass on to those young guys.

Um you know, like creeping up it's uh at times I found myself looking back and kind of reflect on my career where where I've been and the people that have come through and helped me out to get here.

Um but at the same time I'm like, Oh Jesus, here already.

Like I I'm like I don't feel like an old guy but um so it's uh there's a lot of I guess uh you know, emotions that come with it but you know, I'm certainly proud to to be able to play a thousand games and to get here as a stepping stone and hopefully can you know, keep playing and pushing.

Um, you know, I've always tried to carry myself as a uh professional and as a leader and and you know, I hope along the way that there's a lot of players that have helped out in their careers and and I think at the end of the day that you know that'll mean a lot to me.
