A couple times last week, because if you look at the snap counts and it is warranted and earned, Colson Loveland is starting to eclipse Cole Komet in terms of actual snaps and how you would view as the number one tight end.
And there were a couple times last week where they tried to leave
Loveland out there on an island and with mixed results, not surprisingly, as good as he's proven to be as a blocker, that's asking a lot as a rookie.
So I do wonder in this game where the edge rushers scare you more than they did last week with the Packers without Micah Parsons, how will they adjust with that
especially with Theo Bennett in there.
I will tell you this, though.
Theo can maul in the run game.
I almost feel like that's a slight upgrade at left tackle, what he might bring from a run-blocking standpoint.
Yeah, I had a good conversation with Dan Roshar, the offensive line coach yesterday about that.
because, and Ben admitted it the other day too, like the last three games, they haven't been quite on point running the ball.
And I think they're looking at that.
You know, Roshar talked about some of the landmarks and target points, you know, in some of their blocks being off a little bit.
However, you know, the one cutback run that DeAndre Swift had on the touchdown in the fourth quarter looked a lot like the Eagles game with those giant cutback lanes that they were able to create.
So maybe there's some signs in there that they can, they can get it together.
Cause I totally agree.
I mean, this is a team it's it, in some ways we, the way they keep coming back, we shouldn't ever be surprised, but it is really remarkable that they were able to do that last week without much of a running game.
And it has been, it has been a struggle.
So I want to see that get better.
I'm
wondering a little bit if they're hitting somewhat of a wall up front with the offensive line because of the amount of games that they've been playing and had to put together here.
