And it wasn't pretty, but I think that's kind of been this team's identity.
I still worry, Lawrence, about like...
I don't know.
The world series seems a little crazy to be talking about.
I think they should be careful here at the trade deadline.
I like to see a piece or two added, but it just, the lineup feels a year away.
It still feels like they don't have quite enough pitching, even if they add to it.
So I, I'm looking at this all like almost like a bonus, a bonus ride.
I hope it keeps going.
And the fact that they pull out games like last night and today and somehow salvage a split and what was otherwise kind of an ugly homestand, um,
in series against the Yankees, it's kind of what they've done.
They're never going to quit, and it makes me feel like they're going to certainly stay in the mix all the way to the end.
But don't do anything too crazy is kind of where I'm standing on all this.
Well, that's the fun part about the season, honestly, on both sides is like to have I go back to that Cub Sox series, which was like, oh, what, a couple of months ago now, just how fun that weekend was.
And to see both teams competing against each other and being, you know, good for the first time in a long time.
And we got another series coming up here that.
Should be fun.
It's just good to have baseball matter, especially for us Sox fans.
I mean, it's been a rough, basically, from the day Tony LaRusso was hired.
I know they still won the division and made the playoffs, but that whole era just didn't, even when they were in the playoffs, it didn't feel right to me.
