But the actions and how this all gets handled, either this offseason or the offseason after that, I think we will eventually learn the answer to that question.
Well, it was very specific.
Seth Walder does a great job at ESPN, had a list of his top 100 players, specifically in terms of MVP.
So if he were to rank the top 100 players that he would vote for for MVP, and he had all this criteria, and Caleb wasn't on that list.
um at all if you want at all in the top 100 but not only that like he had cj stroud at 37 um i just and the point the point that we got into a little bit and i don't have it all in front of you but you know i think sometimes what happens with these analytics and i am somebody that quotes epa all the time like i enjoy analytics i find the value in um
But when we kind of go overboard where we're cherry picking some of these numbers, whether it's completion percentage over expected or, you know, missed target rate or like whatever it is, which was some of the things he was pointing out where Caleb was just middle of the pack or I think in.
Miss Target Raid, if I'm quoting that directly, I think he was actually dead last.
Look, we all know he has to get more accurate, but at what point does coming back in seven games where you're losing under two minutes matter?
What point does...
Everything he did in the fourth quarter all season count.
Like sometimes the analytics just, they don't tell the whole story.
The tape does.
What we see with our eyes.
I mean, anybody who watched football this year can tell you that Caleb Williams was a better quarterback than CJ Stroud.
So what are we doing here when we're just trying to cherry pick some of these advanced numbers?
um, to, to, to just discredit a season that we all saw was very good.
I just, I doesn't make sense to me.
So I don't, unless we're just trying to sort of confirm some of the biases that maybe we, we had already made up.
I don't really understand how Caleb Williams, uh, can't be considered one of the top 100 players in the NFL this season.
Thanks, Adam.
