Before this season completely slides, and sliding to me is not…
They'll make the eight.
They'll be part of the finals.
There's no doubt about that.
They're too good not to.
But if they finish sixth or fifth or seventh, that would be a complete bust for me.
Bust?
They're a top four team.
They've had the year that's got them into the finals.
They've gone and got Petrarca.
They've spent their first round picks to improve this midfield and get that midfield forward player that can flip with Humphrey.
Everything's hunky-dory there, right?
They've got everything that they want.
But for some reason, they don't have the attitude.
They've lost their killer instinct.
They've lost that hunger, that passion for contest.
And until that corrects, nothing will change.
They'll get beaten by the better teams.
Yeah, well, they're getting some scrutiny now.
No, I just think they're wasting what is an unbelievable opportunity in such an open year to finish top four, have a home final run into a grand final opportunity.
