First off, well, I'll address the actual 50 first.
I think a lot of it is smoke and mirrors.
So I'll tell you, when I was in Congress, this was an annoyance.
Like,
I had fundraisers that would, you know, obviously I'd do a fundraiser and they'd come in and they'd want to inflate the numbers of what they raised for me, you know, because it makes them look good.
And they were good fundraisers, but I would see like, you know, so-and-so gave $4,000, so-and-so gave $5,000.
And I'd look back and be like, wait, I already got like a letter from you saying that so-and-so gave $4,000.
But then you actually took the check in at that.
So then you double counted it.
And then the other thing is that includes direct contributions to Donald Trump, money to Donald Trump's super PACs.
Probably they counted everything given from January here and then probably a lot of commitments forward.
