There's not people around him saying, this is dumb.
This is a waste of money.
This isn't something you can do.
But I also think that,
There's a sense of his own mortality.
I think he's deeply narcissistic.
And narcissists, you know, they don't necessarily think about what the future for the country is because they're not going to be in it.
But he does think about how people think about him.
And all of a sudden, what are the things he can control?
Clearly...
He can't control the war in Iran, for instance, like he wants to.
Clearly, he can't control all these different policy issues, but he can build stuff, and he's a builder.
And to him, in the world now, you can go and see a Trump Tower, and that is some ode to his magnificence.
And so I think that's what you're seeing now is a guy that –
feels out of control in certain areas, but these are things he can control.
It's like when you mow the lawn and sometimes you stand back, grab a cold beer and admire your work because that is something you can do when you see the end results of it.
And I think that's part of it.
I think it gives him a dopamine hit, you know, in a soul that's very, very empty and hollow.
And that's his drug of choice.
This is a man who, by the way, is really good at manipulating people one-on-one.
