A scary situation across Missouri.
They saw in some of those communities on the high end as much as a foot of rain for Thursday.
Thursday really into Friday when all that was coming down.
We're still tracking a risk of some flooding as we move through the weekend.
Now that's shifted a little farther off towards the east.
This morning we're seeing at least some flooding, flood alerts, flood warnings there across portions of southern Illinois getting into Kentucky.
So really along the Ohio River Valley, those are the areas where that rain is going to continue to come down.

Damaging winds, large hail, even a few tornadoes are possible.
Heavy rain also a concern with localized flash flooding from the mid-Atlantic into central Appalachians in Ohio Valley and parts of the Mississippi Valley.
