So as a kid, I got Veteran's Day off every day for that so I could hunt on the 11th.
And that's been a tradition like that, too.
But around that time frame, my mom would make a birthday meal.
So I did that.
And by the time I got out of there, it was getting pretty late to hunt that afternoon.
So I called my brother and was like, hey, you got anywhere, like, close?
Like, just a quick hunt?
Like, I can just slip in?
Like, just, you know, not a long hunt?
And it was hot then.
It was 2024.
If you guys remember November, like, where we're at anyways, it was really hot.
But it was hot, but it was still, you know, November the 2nd at that point or whatever it was.
And so he's like, man, he said, there's this ladder stand that's down in this draw.
He said,
it's been there forever.
Like basically like when they bought this property, really it was someone else's that was there, you know?
And he's like, it's double rung stand.
So he's like, I know it's still solid because I haven't been down there for a couple of years.
He's like, but it's kind of, you know, you can find it at least.
