We can almost put him to the side.
My answer is going to surprise people, and I could have put this person as my X Factor, but it's Tim Hardaway Jr.
And it's weird.
You say, how are you concerned?
He's had a near perfect year.
And I would agree.
But I just always think about playoffs.
What's going to happen in the playoffs?
And his shooting in aggregate has been great, and it's been pretty consistent.
the shooting in a playoff series is like michael porter will tell you you might get 26 threes you know it's not like you get a hundred of them and you have this or that you might only get 18 you know if it's a shorter series and if you go 5 of 18 the team loses and it's like yeah but it doesn't matter what the you would have gone in a big number it's that and the thing about tim hardaway is
i think he sneaky provides the most important thing which is scoring and three-point shooting and so it's really loud but he doesn't really give you other things he's not a great rebounder he's not a good defender at all he competes and does different things but the playoffs when he is on the court i think teams are going to be circling him and i think we don't feel this at all in the regular season but we will feel it a lot in the playoffs
And in the playoffs, his shot making is going to come down to not what he shoots in big numbers, but you get four shots.
Can you make two of them?
Because one for four is not going to be enough.
Two for four is great.
Three for four is we're winning for sure.
Four for four, lock it in.
And it just comes down to something as simple as that.
And I think he'll be the only player in the rotation outside of Jokic and Murray who are not plus defenders or guys that you at least count on to get a stop.
People aren't going to be circling trying to find.
