To me, the big problem is just the special interest groups that have captured a lot of our institutions and have made our institutions work for the richest of the rich.

So, I mean, the big one that people point to is obviously APAC, a huge special interest group that pours money into campaigns and forces these politicians to take, you know, positions that are not popular with the base.

Yeah.

Right now, we see this across all different fields.

Politicians are taking positions.

That aren't popular with voters or don't help voters because of special interest groups, and that needs to be rewired.

I mean, there's like a realtor lobby, there's a healthcare lobby, there's lobbies across every single industry that make it slightly harder.

And it's true.

There's even like, I mean, one of my friends always points this out: in most states in the United States, they have banned direct-to-buyer car sales.

So if you're the manufacturer, you have to go.

Go through a car dealership, which makes it more costly, it makes it more burdensome, and it makes it harder.

You could just do direct from manufacturer to buyer, but they've banned that because the car dealership lobby wants to take that extra little money in the middle.

The point that I'm making here is everything has been distorted by corporations and by money and by special interest groups.
