JJ's pretty even.
He's got the same amount of snaps, you know, slightly higher completion percentage.
And it's like, no, Kyler Murray's been working with the first team.
He's been throwing downfield.
He's been making plays.
Is he perfect?
No.
But he's a veteran quarterback.
He knows how to run an offense in the NFL.
He knows how to get the ball to Justin Jefferson, which I is probably one of the biggest factors in this entire quarterback competition because JJ couldn't get
The ball to him last year, and it doesn't seem like that's changed a whole lot in practice this year.
Um, so yeah, I think Kyler is leading the competition now.
What happens next is gonna be the most interesting because they have uh two more afternoon practices on Friday and Saturday, and then they have their night practice on Sunday.
I think if if Kevin O'Connell doesn't name or make it very obvious that Kyler is the number one quarterback, then he's then he's hurting the entire
Team because at that point you're taking reps away from Kyler.
And at the same time, I think it would be beneficial for McCarthy to be just running the number two team.
It would take a lot of pressure off of him.
You know, he'd feel probably a little better if he made a mistake here or there, maybe play a little freer, maybe play like the guy that that came into training camp when he was a rookie before he hurt his knee.
Um, I think it would just be best for both if they just if Kevin O'Connus just picked a role instead of having
