Yeah, well Trent Robinson's uh addressed this in a press conference this morning.

Peter Peter Bedell's written a story on the uh Newscorp websites, Charlie, saying that Sam Walker and his management have knocked back the first offer from the Roosters.

Uh it was a long term offer for an extra four years uh above his deal, which ends in twenty twenty seven.

It's an interesting one because I think his management flew down to to talk to the Roosters earlier this week and clearly they haven't come to terms on on that contract value.

I think the reports were that the offer was starting at one point one million dollars per year from twenty twenty eight onwards.

Maybe Sam and his management think that's a little bit unders and he deserves a a little bit more, but

And Sam's basically said that I don't want to talk about this anymore until the end of the season.

And Trent Robertson was asked about it in his pregame press conference this morning and said, You know what?

That's great by me.

I want Sam locked in.

I want to try and win a comp so we can worry about it when when the grand final's over if the Roosters make it that far.

So it's an interesting one, Danny, isn't it?

Like he's it's clearly they're a little bit apart in terms of money at the moment.

Hm.

it'll only get more valuable if they win the comp this year.
