What's going on there?
Uh Charlie, I need to address this very quickly.
Uh I wrote a story on the weekend about in my column about the the Perth Bears funding.
Uh the premise of the story was that the NRL
grant or central grant that will go to the Bears will be less than the other clubs in the when they come in next year.
The premise of what I wrote is technically correct, but I I need to make an apology for making a mistake in that story.
Um I didn't have quite have the full and accurate picture uh for that story.
I won't go into too many details apart from saying that I chatted a couple of people out of the clubs who said, you know, we've heard about this, we've been made aware that their funding's not going to be as much as other clubs.
You should do a bit of digging.
I rang and made one or two other phone calls to try and verify it.
It was in fact true that they're going to get a smaller grant than other clubs.
