The issue is that in a way now for our owners, many of them have engaged directly with the media and their fans on tanking.
And honestly, you could argue they're being rewarded for it, that this is now a strategy, that they're being encouraged by their fans
to undertake.
And in fact, I've had a conversation with other owners who are upset because they're out there trying to win every game.
They don't have a top draft pick.
They're sort of in the middle of the pack or just sort of just barely making the playoffs.
And their fans are saying, what are you doing?
You're in the worst possible place.
You should either be really good or really bad.
So, you know, believe me, I will say one of the things that's changed in this league, I mean, think about it, even from an economic standpoint,
what these teams are sacrificing in order just to win longer term i mean that's what like tanking again it's a strategy to win not to lose historically a lot of teams weren't willing to put themselves through that and for whatever reason i think it's a broader societal societal issue with sort of sort of this
