He, in an effort to show his love for this Cinderella woman that works there, he tries to start learning Mandarin.
And then there's one of these weird, you know, mistranslation things where he tries to tell her his love, but he's saying all the wrong things and it's dirty comments and he offends her.
There's that.
It blows up in his face because he tried to learn the language but messed it all up.

He's fighting them.
They're about to overwhelm him.
Maybe he gets pulled out of the water by some guy who's there and it's actually just a fishing vessel.
