Well, you know what Kate's like.

All she really wanted to talk about was Brian trying to manipulate her into moving to Scotland.

But then I told her about the crazy deal he's been working on to store dozens of caravans in the field next to spiritual home.

Explained how her yurts would look out upon row after row of white sheds on wheels.

I had hoped to get everyone else's support before I went to him, but... Well, now that Alice has got all protective of Brian, to be honest, I'm not sure which is the hardest nut to crack.

Big producers aren't going to stop wanting standardised high protein flour. No, okay. I mean, I know what battling Brian is like. I'm glad my only battle is now with continental weather. Cold winters and summer droughts. Yeah, but that's not why Brian's being so obstinate. Recently, one of his big ideas to deal with some poorly performing land was to store caravans on it. Sorry, what? Oh, don't worry, he gave up on it fairly quickly. Why?
