Speaking of that great interaction between Maeve and Arvel, it's kind of like this interesting new theme I'm seeing in some fantasy novels as well about open and clear communication.

And I think perhaps what I'm seeing is like a lot of modern writers being so aware of these things and also like almost like therapy.

It's also like a lot of people build in like, you know, themes like anxiety or depression, but also like grounding.

Yeah.

And I quite like it.

It's not like everyone's just able to get over things and move on.

It's like we need to be clear about our issues.

We're going to move it, but it's not going to be easy.

Yeah.

It's like everyone, every one of these characters has to do the work.

And you're like, this is so relatable.

Yeah, I love that.

Especially the anxiety theme.

I think that comes up a lot now, but it's dealt with.

And trauma as well, dealt with more sensitively.

Yeah, totally.

It used to be that characters would just get up the next morning and be like, I'm fine about that dead best friend now.

Right.

Yeah.

No, I like that.
