And there are some dark elements there, like Tice's kind of blackmail backstory about how she ended up with that illegal glyph and her coach basically sort of abused and then blackmailed her.
And Keon's story and even James's story, like, there's a lot there, but it's dealt with in such a way that it doesn't feel, like, too much.

that it wasn't that actually he was secretly in love with her the whole time.
He was like sort of intrigued by her and distracted by her, but they both had that sort of I hate him so much thing even from the very beginning of their career.
But they were ignoring the fact that they probably had a crush on each other, I suppose, which I liked because it wasn't just like I was secretly in love with her the whole time because it's like, no, I didn't realise that that's what it was.
