Yeah, a lot of teams are talking about field position.
Now, how do you get that?
You get that through clearances.
One outstanding, I suppose, not outstanding, but a stat that you can see across the field is post-clearance ground ball.
So the work rate to get to the next contest is really important.
And then the balance around that.
But if you don't get to that contest and the ball hits the ground and you get outnumbered,
more than likely you're going to lose some field position from that.
So I see that through the competition.
The numbers are pretty high in the top eight teams.
Yeah, they're top four in the last four weeks between our clearances, so that gives them field position and we want to make sure that we work hard inside the stoppages, put pressure on to not allow so much metres gained from those stoppages.
Yeah, well, you know, as a coach, you can name, I was writing on the board the other day about forwards, what our improvement or what we're doing well, and the list kept getting longer and longer.
But working out, you know, the main points, you know, the one-on-one contest, for example, working with your teammates.
Yeah, as it goes on after each game, we've got a bigger philosophy, but there are smaller little things that come out of the game that you can't train all the time, but you can put into the players
just to be aware of.
