There are two things that I think that have been underplayed in this. matched

One is that the proposals, the documents that I've seen stipulate the proposals would require mandatory state ID for anyone opening a new social media account from as soon as this law is passed. matched

And that is to try and get around what kids normally do, which is they just scroll down to some date in the 1980s and that gets them onto the social media. matched

The second issue is virtual private networks, VPNs. matched

They'll know how to use them. matched

If you just use a VPN to say you're in the States on your phone or on your laptop, that means it doesn't think you're in the EU and none of these things apply. matched

So that being said, those two things being said, it still is a more pragmatic approach than what we've seen matched
