On one hand, they have the dodgy boxes.
OK, let's say it's a quarter of households use dodgy box.
On the other hand, they have the likes of Netflix, Disney, Apple TV, Paramount Plus, Amazon Prime Video, all of those streamers and YouTube.
They are all in the ascendant still and they're squeezing out the legacy networks like Sky, like RT as well, like like BBC.
So.
if i was in sky's camp i might and i was looking to persuade politicians i might try and argue that with the current dynamics both legal and illegal that are in the market you might see a situation that in a few years we just have less and less original irish or british programming full stop because you're leaving the market to youtube netflix and disney on one hand and dodgy boxes
on the other, and where does the money come from?
I mean, the number one thing that people watch on Irish TVs in Irish living rooms is YouTube.
It's not RT, it's not even Netflix.
Netflix is number two.
But I presume Netflix stuff has been stolen on Digiboxes.

The issue for them is a little bit like the issue for Spotify when it comes to pirating music or fighting piracy of music.
The entry level price or the price for Netflix or Spotify is so much lower than it is, say, to watch a Sky package in general.
