No response.
Obviously, his phone was still off.
And then around maybe half an hour later or not really half an hour, we got a call.
My husband got a call from Sean's best friend saying that there was an awful accident in Sanctuary Avenue and it might be Sean's.
So basically, we ran out of the house and went to the closest hospital, which was Beaumont.
But in Beaumont Hospital, they didn't have anybody named Sean Narlock.
So I kindly asked the receptionist, you know, can you check any other hospital?
Have they taken Sean?
So she rang around Blanchardstown and found out that Mater Hospital took Sean into emergency department.
So we went over there.
and we were standing in front of the emergency room, not even knowing if Sean was alive or not.
We waited around three hours, and two consultants came out to me and told me the whole scenario, what happened, what is Sean's condition, and what he's going to go through.
Well, at first...
When they came out to me, they only wanted to speak to me.
So they said his right ankle is very crushed and we need to operate on it.
So the left leg, we knew that the left femur was broken completely.
It was an open wound, open breakage.
But they were more concerned about the right leg at the very beginning.
because there was no blood flow into the foot, and they were very concerned about that.
And then they said, okay, we will try to, during the operation at night, we will try to find the blood flow and, you know, make sure that the circulation is back.
