So we came back.
That was it.
That was the last time I saw it.
They said there was no injuries to his head.
Thank God the helmet saved his life.
It was mainly the legs that were very, very badly injured.
And so the next morning we came in and he was in ICU department.
And that was one of the most horrific images that I could ever experience as a mother going into ICU department, seeing my son stuck into the machine and all beeping everywhere.
Do you know, it's just something that you don't want to experience ever in your life.
And we've seen that his right ankle that was supposedly very, very badly crushed had an external fixture.
That's what they told me.
That was what was, you know, it's an orthopedic.
And then his left femur was covered, but the left calf was very, very swollen.
So we were not sure what's going on in there.
So then another consultant, plastic consultant, Dr. O'Neill, came in and he explained that actually the right ankle, they were able to fix it, but now their concern is the left leg.
Because apparently there was a damage caused through the femur that went through the calf.
I don't really know the whole medical terminology to explain it to you, but it didn't look well.
Well, Sean, first of all, was put in induced coma just basically to help the body react to antibiotics and everything that they were doing.
And they said that if they're not going to find the blood flow, because as I said, it's now the left ankles became a concern to them.
And they said they will not find the blood flow to the left foot.
