Very conflicted and very unsettled.
I covered my first match professionally as a journalist in 1996, Mick McCarthy's first game, first time around.
So being on the road with Ireland for 30 years, I've covered every home game.
The majority were away games.
The Euro 2000 campaign was difficult because it was against the backdrop of the cost of a war related to where we are.
Matches being moved, sanctions, everything else.
But I've never known anything like this window.
It really has been very difficult.

But it's just very difficult.
I mean, look, Ireland have a game on Thursday away to Kosovo here in Pristina, where I am now.
Stadium is right behind me here.

Really, just the focus is on people are going to try and say, let's focus on the games.
But Israel and the backdrop has just dominated this whole window, the whole build up.
