She's in a hotel room and and she's having what she later said was nonconsensual sex with with Pete Hegseth.
uh then we have an interview with pete hegseth now pete through a lawyer has denied uh that the sex was consensual uh non-consensual excuse me he says the sex was entirely consensual that they uh he met her at this conference uh that he was uh quite drunk uh that she was the person that she pursued him that they went back to the hotel room sexual sex um and that that's all that happened now uh
The woman in question never pressed charges.
He was never charged with a crime.
He denies it to this day.
But a couple of years later, he did pay the woman to sign a nondisclosure agreement to not talk about the incident.
So that in detail is what this police report reveals.
And we already knew that there was this claim against Pete Hegseth because it was brought to the attention of the Trump transition team after he was named secretary or nominated to be secretary of defense.
But this report lays out in a lot of detail the competing narratives about what happened then.
Yeah, so what the lawyer said, first of all, there's no dispute about whether these two had sex.
And there's also no dispute that Pete Hegseth paid off this woman to sign a nondisclosure agreement.
