And that was something that really helped me throughout the Olympics.
because I would have been lying in bed at night that was like, right before the draw, oh, I'm going to fight Cuba, right, I'm going to fight Kazakhstan, oh, I'm going to fight, you know, and then all of a sudden, no, they're just thoughts that, that's, you know, they're not true, and that book really helped me.
It was unbelievable, and I remember walking out,
the ring to fight for the olympic medal and I was like how can I just be just stay present Aidan don't do anything else just stay present smell the gloves smell the ring feel the gloves on you feel your toes how can I stay present just let everything else take care of itself if you stay present and that was the one thing that I told myself fighting for the olympic medal just stay present Aidan if you can stay present don't worry about skills don't worry about tactics don't worry about your opponent if you think of any of that that's you jumping out of your head and jumping into the future
Stay present, stay present, stay present.
And that was something that really helped me massively.
The proudest things that I've done in my life, no one's even known.
100 million percent.
People close to me have known, but a million percent.
When I look back now, the Olympic medal, which is great, and I'm so, so proud of it, and I'm so, so happy that I achieved it, but I like to use the Olympic medal now as a platform to help other people.
That's what I like to put it on a pedestal for.
It's like, right, it's given me the platform to help other people, but the proudest moments and the moments that I struggled
behind the scenes, when not many people knew, those were the times when, it was challenging, there was no one, there was, there was a slack few people there to support you, do you know, it was, it was challenging, it was difficult, no one, like, the Olympic medal, like,
When you're at that level, everybody wants to help you.
Everybody wants to support you.
Everybody wants to back you.
And it's almost like, it's not easy, but it's not challenging the way you're struggling in the background.
Not many people know.
