the safe big tech companies to go into the memory companies, like the, the, the picks and shovels of the race, you know, like the, the SanDisk and Micron, but now they're pulling out of like this AI stuff, a lot of it altogether and going into things like oil.
Oil has hit record profits.
Exxon, I think Chevron just had its best quarter in the history of the company.
Exxon had like its third best.
They're all fucking crushing.
And so everybody is rotating into more commodities and things like that.
So it's,
Everything is moving behind the surface, but the overall number is staying the same, and I think it's interesting.
And the example I wanted to give is why I thought this was like a story worth talking about, is this guy, Leopold Aschenbrenner, who's like this 24-year-old wunderkind, if you haven't heard of him.
He wrote a thing called situa... Oh, no, he wrote a thing called... Is it Situational Awareness is the name of the blog?
The name of his company is Situational Awareness.
It's such fun.
He wrote a blog about AI, and it basically was like a 150-page blog that said, like, it's going to change everything.
It is absolutely going to reach up to the world, and we're going to just bet everything on that being the case sooner rather than later.
Yeah, so he's like 22 or 23 the time he writes this.
He actually, his background is he was at FTX with Sam Begman Freed.
He was like an intern there or something, and he got out before everything collapsed.
So this guy, he writes this piece, and everyone's like, oh, you know what?
Maybe you're right.
