You go for an 82 game season and then another 82 game season, and then you don't even add the playoff games that have been added in there as well.

This is a team that has played more hockey than just about anyone recently, more than anyone, because the Florida Panthers didn't make the Stanley Cup playoffs.

So this is a group that has played a lot of hockey recently.

And you know what?

Maybe a little bit of extra rest is something good.
