President Trump says any deal made in the Senate he won't be happy about, but stops short of signaling opposition to a DHS funding bill that would leave out some programs for immigration operations.

The agreement would also not include the Save America Act voter ID legislation the president has urged Republicans to include as part of DHS funding.

Instead, Republicans in the Senate would try to advance elements of that proposal through a budget process that avoids a 60 vote filibuster.
