So he was close.

69 in the 19-20 season.

He played 73 in the 21-22 season.

60 games in the 22-23 season.

62 in the 23-24 season.

And then 50 games last year in the 24-25 season.

We're at 42 games right now for the 25-26 season.

And I love the guy.

And I love the defensive prowess that he brings to the wild.

He's great when he's on the ice.

But the problem, as just explained there, he's just not on the ice simply enough.

You're making $6 million a year.

I would like that to be a little more of an availability factor.

He has no trade protection.

But my issue here that other GMs are going to probably point out is, one, if boneheads like us can recognize this issue on a podcast, the people in front offices of hockey teams are also going to be able to recognize this.

So I'm not sure what sort of value he would bring.

But if there's anybody willing to play poker, if the value's somewhat there, I really think you've got to move off.

Um, well, and I'm just saying like, just the parting of ways.

Yeah.

After the season, like I, you just can't trust it.
