If he gets traded, he could be like, well, I don't really want to go there.

what's going on there um so you're right i don't necessarily blame them if there was a conversation where they were able to touch base and say hey you know we we know there's some uncertainty here can we get off the record that you will for sure be signing with us then that's a completely different story but um i don't blame chris drury and his crew for saying i want the sure thing i want the guy that's signed to an entry-level deal and the guy that already has shown that he is uh

he's able to play nhl minutes and that's euro uh eurov has i think the makings to be a very solid center for most teams in this league he's obviously not there yet but it's his rookie season he's still growing and um for a team that right now really needs a a one c i don't know if he will necessarily get up to that level but any center position player

is exactly what they're need.

They, they could pretty much do what they're doing with what they do with the Quinn Hughes trade, which is you're pretty much pressing that, uh, that time travel button on a guy like Zeve Booyam to now you have Quinn Hughes.

Are you going to do that?

And now granted it's going from an 18 year old to 26 with Quinn Hughes.

You're going from, I think you're obvious 21 to a 32 year old with Tro check.

So it's like the price here is probably way more than anything, uh,

We have even talked about just because seeing what Jason Dickinson got from the Oilers, seeing some of these other deals that have actually trickled across the day, Nicholas Waugh going from Toronto to the Colorado Avalanche really shocked me that that garnered a first and a fifth.

So I don't know if the deal that we have thought or have heard about in place over the past week or so is actually going to get things done.

And this was the fear, right?

This is why you see guys maybe opt to try to get deals done earlier than later.

I mean, imagine right now,

If Quinn Hughes was still with Vancouver and it was, you know, you had all this time from the past month of conversations, they're looking to move him, et cetera, et cetera.
