I think we, I mean, we're always going to be our biggest competitor amongst ourselves because we always want to strive to be the best we can be.

But, you know, we were, technically we weren't even the first.

If you really want to be honest, like you go back to the Jackson 5, New Edition, Boyz II Men, New Kids on the Blocks.

Those were the original.

Poor Topps.

Boy bands, if you want to call them that.

But we never looked at ourselves as a boy band.

We considered ourselves to be a vocal harmony group.

The word boy band came from Europe.

We got kind of thrown into this melting pot when we first went over there.

That was their name for groups like us, but...

The definition of a boy band really was a bunch of pretty faces, one or two voices could sing, the rest were just abs and whatever.

And we can all sing.

All of those guys, man.

So we would sing acapella any chance we got.

And a lot of the other groups over there couldn't do that.

So it was a shock to everybody like, oh, well, these guys can really do this.

And but, you know, again, when all the other groups kind of came after, everybody kind of had their own lane.
