And so I personally like I don't have any space in my life to dedicate to talking to a ball about a ballroom or talking about a guy who happened to be at a hotel and ran through security like nothing happened there.

But I can point to people who actually lost their rights this week across the South.

Like, you know, as someone else said earlier, I am a descendant of enslaved people in this country.

I'm from the South.

Like my every generation of my family has been fighting against white supremacy.

And so to see this like I have less rights now than my grandma had in the 70s, like.

That's insane.

And so thank you for like blowing it up.

Thank you all for continuing to talk about it.

You know, if we can't rely on mainstream media to talk about it, it's important that we be louder than them.

And so I just appreciate that you all are willing to speak on it, not just to each other, but any chance you get and that I'm going to do the same thing.

So I'm I'm just as mad.

I'm like grateful that you all brought it up.

I've been feeling really disgusted all week because this isn't, you know, I have the conversation with my mother pretty regularly where she says, I'm so sorry.

This is not the country that I thought would be here for you.

This is worse than, you know, I expected us to continue progressing.

And I do have hope that, you know, this won't just all be a downward spiral.

Maybe it's not the voting rights situation that's going to wake people up.
