And then we got a good team on the field and Brock Purdy's a hell of a quarterback.

And so the guys that we're gonna go up against on Friday are equally as good and they deserve all the praise that they're getting.

Uh and this is should be a fun game.

Well, it starts with I would say leadership and culture, there's no question.

I mean, if you look at what Kyle Shanahan's been able to do in the ten years that we've had him here, he's just a fantastic coach, but it builds on the history and the legacy of the San Francisco forty nineers.

kind of really reinvented the National Football League with the West Coast offense system and the tree that came out of that between Joe Montana and Steve Young.

Uh, but for us, we do feel as though we have an advantage given our our location, uh, our history and legacy, and that players want to come to play for us.

You know, even at times in a fixed salary cap league.

You know, we've had players that have maybe taken a little less to come to the San Francisco Forty Niners because of what it means to play for that organization.

And I say it all the time.

We stand on the shoulders of giants who came before us.

We know what the standard is at the team.

We walk in every single day and those five Lombardi trophies stare us at the in the face.

And look, we've come up short.

I've been with the team now for over fifteen years.

And unfortunately we've come up short in the last three Super Bowls and and agonizing.

You know, if you know, the last play of the game in Kansas City, uh, that we lost to in Vegas, you know, first and goal on the four yard line in New Orleans where we lost, you know, and then in Miami up ten, you know, lose that game.

And so trust me, a lot of the guys on our team have lost those two Super Bowls and I've and they deserve a chance to play in another and hopefully
