Because the minor league was about a third of what I was making and you know, you couldn't afford to live in Cape Breton on twenty five Canadian back then.

And i you know, it's just ridiculous and you know, I've never been about money, but I was like, I could make five thousand dollars a week in the coast.

Why would I go there and this team is too good to make in the n NHL and you know, i it was just too hard.

But I got traded to the LA Kings, but part of the deal uh getting traded to the Kings was I wasn't allowed to play to the following season.

I found that out from Rogue and I was so pissed off.

When I got called up and then all by Robbie Fattoric I found out the rogue called and said you can't play till next year.

I made an agreement with Slatz, he doesn't want another Euler in the lineup.

And 'cause they were probably gonna be head to head in the playoffs.

So I got pissed off and they traded me.

I said I wanted to get traded 'cause they had too many old guys in Vega li on uh the LA Kings and they were all kind of idols of mine.

I love Ron Dugay, I love Crowder, I love all those old dudes that they had on their team.

And uh

But I get tra that's how I get traded to the cap.

So all of that stuff was all part of the process of, you know, things working out for me.

I I think there's five percent of the guys in the league are truly phenomenal and better than everyone else.

The rest of us are lightning strikes of good luck, and some guys are lightning strikes of bad luck.

And I think there's so many good players that didn't make it, uh, but they didn't do the right things and they weren't prepared at the right time and they didn't get the right brain.

Right.
