He goes to the Ontario League.

He goes to the American Hockey League.

And he's stepping into the National Hockey League.

And he's going to have some growing pains.

But all of a sudden, if the Caps start him at center and the team looks really good,

they may be able to swing another trade for a top flight center in the league and make that roster even better because I think there's room at the top of the centers to really go for it, and then you're automatically, instantly, I think with health, a Stanley Cup finalist contender.

So they have a lot of things I like.

There's always money, and I've said this to Bob on the show before.

There is no salary cap with wealthy owners.

You always find a way to move the money.

Look at all the teams.

The way they find ways, you have to be creative.

And you look what Philadelphia did.

They put Anaheim on the spot.

Now Anaheim is going to have to be really creative to build their team.

But with wealthy owners who don't want to play games, who don't screw around in contract negotiations, there's always money.

There is no real salary cap.

And, you know, they made it a little bit harder with the circumvention rules for long-term IR.

But, you know, these GMs are like convicts.

You know, they're plotting all day long how they can break their rules legally and find a loophole.
