Dickinson, I've always loved this kid.
The biggest thing with me is keep him healthy.
He's going to help you win hockey games.
He's gritty.
He's got nice skill.
He's had 20-plus goal seasons.
I can't recall how many.
But he's a guy that can do things, and he's a legit third-line threat.
And the Oilers have always been short in that position, so he really helps.
And then you get a big kit like Doc that's not scared of anything, throws his weight around.
And I think he's a very good skater, in my opinion, for a big guy.
And he's only going to get better.
So if he can stay healthy and continue to keep the consistency of the way he's played so far,
you need that and i i just look at the oilers have some really good hammers on their team right now they've got to be committed to playing that style of hockey uh throughout the playoffs and see how long they can live to fight another day but you know the the captain and i'm seeing the version that i saw in toronto and i really like the kid that was in toronto that the hits he's been throwing the speed that he can to play the game with he's got it he does have a scoring touch
And I just look at, you know, having those guys, those role players that understand what they need to do to help your team win.
I think that really bodes well for the Oilers.
Well, I don't think I've ever seen it where it's that tough to call.
And when you're looking at the teams out there, I love what Vegas has done under John Tortorella.
And I know that they lost, but I'm still thinking, I think if the Oilers can corral their game and their style of play, and there was a lot of things I didn't like in their game the other night, but there's a lot of things that I loved.
And I think they get so...
