I mean, I think the short answer is no, because things like this happen.

But I think it was almost probably within a year away of thinking, wow, can anyone really catch up to Tiger?

Because that's always been looked upon as probably one of the two or three, you know, really untouchable records in golf.

And Scotty was a little more than halfway there, 78.

Now he came through a stretch of a lot of signature events with no cuts.

But, you know, Tiger had a few of those, too.

And golf records are never, ever apples to apples.

So I think he was a year away from it starting to really become a conversation.

And the fact that he missed it last week, it was a very short talk.

I mean, he came down on Saturday.

Practice rounds are miserable at the majors anymore.

They take five hours.

They turn a course into a practice area, basically.

And so he was here, you know, Saturday, Sunday.

I think you're right.

I think it's one of the better things that could have happened to him.

I'm sure he doesn't necessarily look at it that way because guys like to finish what they start.

But, yeah, I mean, it's two days of seeing a Lynx course you've never seen before.

What's interesting to me, Tony, is it's the last English length course added to the rotation, 1954, which, you know, in these parts of the world is fairly young.
