Yeah, noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked them, of all the commandments, which is the most important?
So he's a teacher of the law.
There were hundreds of laws in the Torah.
And so he, just think of this guy coming up saying, well, which ones?
No, he said, did he say which one?
Yeah, which.
Which is the most important?
The most important one, verse 29, answered Jesus, is this.
Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.
Love the Lord your God.
with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.
Here's what I find funny.
He asked him for one, which is the greatest.
Then he said, the second is this.
He didn't ask for two, he asked for one.
But he gave him two.
