In some states, it's natural to say when a homeowner invites you in, they're fine with you bringing your gun unless they say otherwise.

And the same is true for stores.

That violates our nation's historical tradition of firearms carry, and two, it violates that principle that dictates that you have a general right to carry.

Why does it matter if store owners and owners of private property that are generally open to the public don't like guns?

Why is it a big deal to say they want people carrying guns to stay out?
