Yeah, it's a really tough story.
Uh Kelly Marie Lynch was 23 years of age.
Um, and in 2024, she was found dead um under a bridge in a disused canal in Monaghan town.
Um and kind of since then, for the past two years, her family, I suppose, have been on a journey of trying to find out exactly what happened to her.
And it's quite a complicated case that raises many, many concerning questions.
And the Lynch family, her parents, Julianne and Sean, have had questions kind of from the beginning of not being able to understand how Kelly died, how Kelly ended up in this canal in the way she did.
Um, and they've just been trying to find that out.
Uh and over the course of the two years, there's been multiple pathologist reports that all find different things.
different causes of death.
Um there's many things that the Lynch family find very suspicious around Kelly's cause of death.
And I suppose a big issue that they have is that um
From the beginning, the Guardian told them that this case was not suspicious.
So Kelly's death was treated as non-suspicious from the beginning, it seems.
Um and the Lynch family have huge concerns around that.
Yes, so I am from Cavan and this happened in Monhan, so not very far away, and we get a lot of the same news, the same radio, the same local papers.
Um, and I had heard nothing about this death.
I heard nothing about this young twenty three year old girl being found dead in Monhan Town on St.
Patrick's Day.
Um and then sometime later, a few months later, I was scrolling on TikTok and I came across Julianne Lynch, Kelly's mother.
Talking about her daughter and how she died and the questions she had and her concerns around her daughter's death.
